"Outstanding personalised training, professional development and pastoral support" OFSTED 2016

Do you love to see children curious, engaged and growing in all aspects of their learning?

Do you want a working day where you will always make a difference?

Do you enjoy the challenges children bring?

Then we offer a PGCE programme that has children at its heart.

Our course is centred around 3 core features:

Relationships -

We believe that an excellent teacher enjoys children and their perspectives. Trainees learn through our PGCE to become increasingly emotionally intelligent in their relationship with not only children but also colleagues, parents and themselves.

Personal and Personalised -

Our vision is for you to become the teacher you want to be - using your skills, passions and personality. Our cohort of 40 trainees enables you to be known by the programme tutors and other trainees. This size ensures there is a range and breadth of experiences and personalities to enhance your learning. We are also able to adapt the course to your needs. Each week you will identify 3 areas you would like to discuss within a learning conversation. You'll discuss these with your tutor and work in school to enable your needs to be met, for example, by observing another teacher or meeting with the SENCO.

Learning applied in practise -

Our outstanding central training is devised so that you will receive theory, subject knowledge and have demonstrated the resources and teaching strategies you will need. You will then be given the opportunity to explore this with children through carefully designed group tasks. You will of course also have the time to talk your experiences through with your peers so that you are, in effect, learning from 40 classrooms.
